The Level 1 Certificate Course provides an introductory education on the fundamental principles and movements of CrossFit. It is the starting point for anyone seeking to improve their health and fitness through effective training and nutritional strategies.
Through two days of classroom instruction, small-group training sessions, and coach-led workouts, the Level 1 offers expert instruction on the CrossFit methodology. The Level 1 environment and all aspects of the course are supportive of all levels of athletes, from the absolute beginner to the more experienced.
After completing this course and successfully passing the CrossFit Level 1 test, participants will be able to:
Define the core concepts of the CrossFit program.
Identify the primary points of performance of foundational and additional movements.
Identify violations of sound movement.
Apply appropriate corrections toward improved movement.
Apply the CrossFit program safely and effectively
The CrossFit Level 1 is accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) as a Certificate Issuer under the ANSI/ASTM E2659 accreditation standard.

After attending the full two-day course, candidates must pass the Level 1 test to earn the CF-L1 credential.
